Choosing the fabrics I think is sometimes the hardest part about making blankets! Then deciding what the lay out should be--OI!! So here is my method to madness:

I used this in the summer when my daughter was a newborn. It is light, yet big enough to wrap around her and me while I nursed. I loved these bigger thin blankets.

This little bag can be used for anything- by anyone!! I can make it in boy colors too! I made it for my niece's birthday gift.

This picture shows better the true colors. Sorry--I didn't have flash on the other ones--

Just so you can see it is a handy little diaper bag as well!! Inside: 6 diapers, 2 diff. types of bottom medicine, infant Tylenol, a brush, a comb, little hair band container, a note book, a pen and still more room!!

Clorox Doll House

Clorox doll house

I know the Clorox doll house isn't anything sewing- but I would like to put some of my crafts on here too- this is a really fun cheap idea! I took it to a family reunion raffle and got a lot of compliments on it. My Aunt Ann Leavitt made one for us kids and we loved it. I have it now and my girls play with it ALL THE TIME!! I have since then bought a lot more little people and furniture like this off craigslist!! :0)
